This dashboard consolidates the full science, technology, and innovation (STI) portfolio of the Department of Science and Technology, Caraga Region, for the performance review period covering Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025.

Key Findings at a Glance

Caraga Region posted a real GRDP growth of 5.704 percent in 2025 and 6.9 percent in 2024, ranking as the second-fastest-growing regional economy in the Philippines for two consecutive years and outperforming the national average of 4.40 percent.
The regional family poverty incidence declined from 46.0 percent in 2009 to 14.9 percent in 2023, representing the most notable poverty reduction among all 18 Philippine regions. This achievement significantly surpassed the medium-term target of 26.0–27.0 percent set in the Results Matrices.
DOST Caraga implemented 122 projects under four programs — SETUP, LGIA, CEST, and SSCP — across five provinces and regionwide coverage, representing a combined investment exceeding ₱181 million over the review period.
A total of 60 Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Centers are operational across the region, hosted by state universities and colleges and DOST Caraga itself, collectively addressing all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The Wealth Creation Fostered (O2-WCF) outcome dominates the portfolio, reflecting the region's strong focus on MSME modernization, technology commercialization, and agri-industry transformation under the i2FAME framework.
All 11 Key Results under the 3-Horizon Strategic Framework are represented in the project portfolio, with Horizon 3 (Future Industries) gaining significant momentum through the Smart and Sustainable Communities Program in FY 2025.
